Kami Y.Z.

Y.Z. Kami è nato nel 1956 a Teheran, e vive e lavora a New York. I suoi lavori sono inclusi, tra le altre, nelle seguenti collezioni: the Metropolitan Museum, New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; e British Museum, Londra. Tra le mostre personali si annoverano: Portraits, Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY (2003); Perspectives, Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC (2008); Endless Prayers, Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art, Londra (2008); Beyond Silence, National Museum of Contemporary Art, Atene (2009–10); e Endless Prayers, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, California (2016–17). Kami ha partecipato alla 52° Biennale di Venezia nel 2007.
